This beautiful christening blanket was stored with a 1951 christening gown. I'm unsure whether it was used for that baby. The newest it could be would be 1962, the last baby. Either way, it's old! It's so soft and lightweight, and looks great aside the christening gown, which I have listed separately. It's ready for its next christening with a new baby!
The Knitown Christening Blanket is designed specifically for newborns, infants, and toddlers. While typically used for baptismal or christening ceremonies during the first year of life, its dimensions allow for continued use as the child grows.
